On the way back from their epic art road trip John and Julie came across one last postcard in Minnesota. This postcard made me strangely curious about obnoxious laws in Wisconsin, here is what my research yielded:

  • Butter substitutes are not allowed to be served in state prisons.
  • At one time, margarine was illegal.
  • Margarine may not be substituted for butter in restaurants unless it is requested by the customer.

What the what! I know Wisconsinites are known for their avid consumption of dairy products but this takes it too far…
